In order to use your carpet with first day look, you should take following instructions in consideration:
Everday Use
• The carpet should not be beaten during cleaning, it should rather be cleaned using a powerful vacuum cleaner preferably every day.
• The items (sofa, table, etc.) on the carpet can leave trace, to prevent it the location of the carpet or objects should be changed in certain intervals.
Stain Removal
If something is spilled on your rug you must act quickly!
• Use a knife or a spoon to remove as much as possible of the excess spillage - always work from the edge of the stain towards the centre.
Why shouldn't I clean the carpet using hard brushes and cleaning utensils?
The polyester yarn used in your carpet consists of twisting very fine fibers. Circular hard wipes or excessive pressure scrubbing or hard brushes to be used during cleaning can open these bends. When the resistance of the opened ropes to stand upright disappears, the crushed fibers can pass into each other and cause an image called "felting" in the colloquial language. Since the twisted ropes will lie in different directions, they can reflect the light from different angles. These light reflections can also be interpreted by the consumer as color loss/difference. In order to avoid these consequences, the above instructions should be followed when wiping your carpet.
• Use a clean white cloth to dry the stain. Dab it with cold water.
• Pat the stain dry with a clean cloth – stain should be wiped in pile direction.
• Wait until the stained area is completely dry.
• Make sure nobody walks on the treated rug surface for at least the next 24 hours.
• Never use soap or detergents which have high chemicals substances.
Deep Cleaning
• You should take support from profession rug care companies for deep cleaning. The rug care company should be informed that high chemical detergents can harm the fibers.
• After cleaning, you should dry the carpet on the floor quickly. The carpet should not be used wet and also should not be left under direct sunlight.
