1. Scope

This policy applies to the website operated by Eko Halı and its subpages. Third-party links on our site (our online store, our social media accounts and similar) fall outside its scope; those platforms are governed by their own privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

We collect two kinds of information: what you share with us directly, and what is generated technically as you use the site.

• Information you provide — The name, contact and company details you share when completing our contact, information request, dealer application, job application and work-with-us forms or subscribing to the newsletter, together with any CV you upload with a job application.
• Automatically generated information — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and technical error logs generated on our servers when you access the site.

We do not collect credit card or payment details on this site. Online shopping takes place on a separate platform, and any information you share there is governed by that site's privacy policy.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:

• Responding to your requests and questions,
• Evaluating dealer and business partnership applications,
• Evaluating job applications,
• Sending you newsletters and promotional content where you have opted in,
• Detecting technical problems and improving the performance of the site,
• Meeting our legal obligations.

We do not use your information for any other purpose, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small text files saved to your browser by the sites you visit. Our site uses only strictly necessary and functional cookies required for it to work. We do not use cookies for advertising, profiling or third-party tracking.

• NEXT_LOCALE — Remembers your chosen site language (Turkish, English, Russian). A functional cookie.
• eko-popup-dismissed-… — Prevents an announcement window you have closed from being shown again. A functional cookie, stored for one year.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site:

• Hosting — Our site and database infrastructure is hosted on our service provider's servers.
• Error monitoring — We use an error-logging service to detect technical faults on the site. These logs are limited to technical data and are not used for marketing.
• E-mail — Form notifications are delivered through our corporate e-mail infrastructure.
• Embedded content — Our pages may contain embedded content from or links to our social media accounts. Such content is subject to the policies of the relevant platform.

6. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and administrative measures to prevent unlawful processing of and unlawful access to your personal data. Site traffic is encrypted with SSL/TLS, and access to data is restricted to personnel who need it for their role. That said, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child in your care has submitted data to us, please contact us at info@ekohali.com and the data will be deleted.

This policy may be revised from time to time as legislation changes or our services are updated. The current version is always published on this page, and the update date at the top of the page is refreshed.
